Let’s be clear. I attend the Online Card Classes because they’re there. Period. I went into the Background Check class with no heavy expectations. I’m an idiot. In this particular class, I’m not sure I can even say which instructor’s cards I liked more. The backgrounds? Yeah, making a background (for the most part) is easy. Then: WHAT DO I DO WITH IT? THAT is what this class showed me. Laura Bassen — holy moley. I tried to replicate one of her methods here. I’m not thrilled with the card. I’ve put it together 15 different ways. This is the end game. I’m still not sure I like it. It’s a sorry you’re under the weather card. I just couldn’t make the front LOOK RIGHT with clouds or an umbrella …. I just don’t know. That’s why I’m not teaching this class, right?
This is a Papertrey Cover a Card Die. And I love it. I love everything weather-related. I’m now madly in love with Press’N’Seal – thank you Jennifer’s husband for inventing it. I popped each one up and then Copic colored them with B000, B01 and B02 after they were popped onto the card front.
